Finish the Song is a 3 day online Bootcamp running from Monday 21st July to Wednesday 22nd July, inclusive. Each workshop is 90 minutes and takes place at 7:30-9pm each day.*
This is for anyone who is writing songs and wants to get better at finishing songs, as well as those looking to dive deeper into their practice. We will explore tools, strategies and techniques to apply to our own songwriting, and in each workshop there will be individual exercises to do & a chance to share your ideas and songs for feedback.
As well as diving into the world of songwriting, this bootcamp will introduce you to a community of like-minded creatives & songwriters who are also looking to develop their skills and meet others, just like you. After the course has ended there will be the opportunity to join my private Skool Group to stay in touch with Fini & the other participants, to share music and move forward on your songwriting journey, together.
Throughout the process there will be the opportunity for feedback with short writing exercises each day. There will also be a Q&A on the last day, to ask anything you may be left wondering…
Throughout the workshops you will be asked to stay on mute (except during discussions) and you will be encouraged to keep your camera on, whenever possible :)
Each workshop will be recorded so replay will be available if you are unable to make it live*.
All you need is a quiet space to work & some song ideas (however fragmented) to work on during the sessions. A harmony instrument (piano, guitar, ukulele) nearby would be useful but not essential.
*If you are unable to make a live session, you will have access to the recordings for each session, so you don’t need to miss a thing! Please be aware that these recordings will only be accessible for 30 days after the course has finished. Unfortunately you can only access the replay if you have come to at least one workshop live.
